Mrs. Janie Katherine Vincent, age 64 of the Village Apartments in Rockwood passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the home of her daughter on Bales Avenue in Harriman. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister. Preceded in death by parents John Thomas and Mary Louise Vincent; Brother John Wesley Vincent; nieces Joy Waldo and Madison Vincent

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, November 13th at 8:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Tim Steele officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.

I am sad to hear of your loss. I too have lost a dear and lovely friend and felt like a sister as we worked together for a long time and remained friends since. Over the years both of us developed serious health problems that kept us apart but we remained loving friends. I know that one day we will meet again and walk the streets of GOLD and talk over the good times .
