Mrs. Sheila Ann Turpin, age 54 of the Abels Valley Road in Rockwood passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the Roane Medical Center.  A member of the Second Baptist Church in Rockwood, she was preceded in death by a son, Jason Scott; and her father, James L. Lane.

 

Survivors include:

 

Husband          Ricky Turpin of Rockwood

Daughters        Penny Simmons of Dayton

                        Jamie Loden of New York City

                        Melissa Frost of Harriman

                        Rochelle Turpin of Rockwood

Grandchildren     Kristin Simmons, Christopher Simmons Jr., Scottie Frost, Destiny Frost, Conner Frost,Starla Frost, John Loden Jr., Joshua Loden, Chelsea Loden, Tyler Loden, Josh Clawson and Myra Turpin       

Mother            Pearl Lane of Rockwood

Sister               Kay Willis of Harriman          

 

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 11th at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Harold Newby officiating.  Interment will follow in the Glen Alice Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.
