Mr. John B. Treadway, age 44, a resident of the Westel community of Rockwood, TN passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007 in the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. He was born June 24, 1963 in Rockwood, TN. Mr. Treadway was of the Baptist faith; enjoyed being a member of the U.S. Bowling Conference; was a missionary to Mexico for 2 years and has a good report; and was a loving husband and daddy. He was loved and will be missed and will be affectionately remembered by a phase he often used, “Bless Your Heart”. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Mary Smith who were formerly of the Lawnville community of Kingston, TN.

Son: Amos Treadway of Westel, TN
Parents: Johnny & Marilyn Treadway of Westel, TN
Lois & Paul E. Moore of Westel, TN
Grandparents: William D. & Nellie Treadway of Rockwood, TN
Brother: Billy Ray Simpson of Westel, TN
Sister: Angie Cooper of Westel, TN
Brother: J.T. Simpson of Westel, TN
Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: Buddy & Freida Grant of Rockwood, TN
And several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Larry Treadway officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Cumberland County, TN with military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 11, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary.
