Dear Betty Jean, Sharon and family,
As everyone who knew her knows Juanell was a very special person in many ways: she was loving, kind, compassionate, tallented, giving of herself in time of need, and most of all she was a great Christian lady who lived her faith.
I am so pleased that I was able to visit with her wonderful family at the funeral home.
May the Lord bless and keep all of the family in His constant care and help all to be "standing on the promises of GOD".

My grandmother was the most talented and loving person that I have ever known. She loved her family more than anything, and very rarely missed church, up until the very end. The day she died, heaven was blessed with an exceptional angel. I love you, mammaw, and I can't wait until we meet again. "Fill My Cup, Lord."
Your granddaughter

Betty Jean & Sharon--just remembering fun times at your house and how your Mom always welcomed us (usually several spending the night after ballgames, etc.) I often saw her when we visited with Dave's Mom as they both enjoyed the Victory group so much at the church.   Prayers are with you all. I know the wonderful memories will bring you comfort.

Betty Jean & Sharon--just thinking about the wonderful memories shared with you at your home with your Mom.  She always welcomed us and had such wonderful snacks for us (and there was usually several of us spending the night after a Friday ballgame.  I always enjoyed seeing her when we went back to Rockwood to see Dave's Mom.  They both loved the Victory group and had such fun together.  I know that your memories will help to comfort you.  Prayers are with you.

Dear Family,
My heartfelt sympathy is with you during this time of loss.  May your wonderful memories of one so dear and God's immeasurable  grace sustain you.  I smile as I remember the many happy times that I have shared with Miss Juanell.  I often introduced her as "my talented side-kick", where we served together for many years in the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry at Bristol Virginia Jail.  She was an inspiration to all who knew her.  She touched many lives with the love and joy she so generously shared through her music, her poems and her sweet spirit.  I am so very grateful that God allowed our paths to cross.  I will always treasure the many things she taught me by her gracious example.  Two of the most important things, I want to share:  1) Persevere! We would never let alittle thing like a rainstorm stop us!  and 2) Always remember that you are in the presence of God! She is truly in His presence now, but what a wonderful legacy to have lived a life that was so aware of the great truth of His abundant presence within her as she walked on this earth.  To all of you: my prayer of peace is with you.  To Miss Juanell: we will pick up where we left off when we all meet again!
Love, Prayers and Blessings,
Wanda Singleton (Bristol, TN)

I attented church with Mrs. Teter for years.  Will never forget the delightful plum trees in her front yard.  She shared with me every year.  For thanks she wanted a big jar of Smucker's grape jelly.......not my homemade plum jelly from her trees.  Alway loved to tease her that she did not like my cooking.  Condolences.
