Bernice was part of my earliest childhood memories. I always called her "Polly" and loved her company when I was a little girl. As I grew up, our visits always seemed like a celebration; she got so excited. As an adult, I understood how strong and brave she was. Life was a daily challenge for her and extremely frustrating at times, yet she accepted this with grace. Of course, she could also be a spitfire! The years after my grandmother's death were lonely for her. Now we take comfort in her joining her loved ones with a new and whole body! All the family here will miss her and remember her with a smile. Because we could not attend the service, we want to thank all those who did attend and all those who sent loving thoughts and prayers.
