Mrs. Ola Lee (Leeper) Springs was called to eternal rest Wednesday, October 17, 2007. She was born in Louellen, KY November 2, 1922 to the late Frank & Mattie (Jones) Leeper. She was a member of The Believer’s Voice of Deliverance Church of Harriman, TN with Rev. James B. Springs, her son, as pastor. She was a long time registered nurse, serving the Roane, Anderson, Knox, & Hamilton counties of Tennessee, and also in the Ohio area. Her favorite pastime was playing bingo. She was known to us all as simply “granny.” Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ralph Richard Springs; sons, Ralph Ronald & Fred Springs; daughters, Margie Lee & Mattie Louise Springs; grandson, Marvin Lee Springs.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. James B. Springs officiating. Graveside service will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
