Mrs. Jane Isham Smith, age 59, of Rockwood, TN passed away November 17, 2007 in the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge after a long illness at home with her daughter, Amanda Smith as her caregiver. She was born October 17, 1948 in Harriman Hospital. Mrs. Smith was of the Protestant faith. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend & homemaker. Her hobbies included gardening & canning foods. She had beautiful flowers and was very artistic, as she painted & drew beautiful pictures and made beautiful quilts. She loved to go shopping with her grandson, Jesse. She will be missed by all of her loved ones. Preceded in death by husband, Ernest “Bootie” Smith; parents, Joel & Gladys Isham; brother, Benny Isham; sister, Leota Adkisson.

Sister-in-law:           Geraldine Isham of Rockwood, TN

Sisters:                     Sara Jo Ferguson of Harriman, TN
                                   Patricia Lankford of Harriman, TN

Special friend:         Brenda Young of Rockwood, TN

Special nephew:     David Isham of Harriman, TN

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Bud Strader officiating. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the the Oak Grove Cemetery.
