Mr. Lesley N. “Buster” Skidmore, age 63, of the Dale Drive in Rockwood, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008 in the Parkwest Medical Center.  He was a 30 year employee of Rockwood’s Water & Gas Department.  Preceded in death by his parents, Damon & Helen Skidmore; and a brother, James Skidmore.

Survivors include:

Sons                            Jeff Skidmore (Kim) of Jacksboro
                                      Brian Skidmore (Stephanie) of Rockwood

Grandchildren            Tyler, Josh and Shaleigh Skidmore
                                      Jessica Daugherty & Jennifer Bailey

Brothers                       Carl Skidmore (Doris) of Rockwood
                                       Dallas Skidmore of Rockwood

                                       Luther Skidmore (Maxine) of Rockwood

Several Nieces and Nephews

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 3rd at 8:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev.’s Howard Huling and Charles Kelly officiating.  Interment will be Sunday at 1:00 pm in the Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.
