Mr. Gerald Roy Peterson, age 51, an adventurer of many areas of the country who decided to make his home in Roane County, currently at the Poland Hollow Road in Harriman, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2007 in the VA Hospital of Nashville.  A US Marine Corps Veteran, he was a nondenominational member of the Christian Faith and an avid Harley Davidson fan.  He was preceded in death by his Godmother Margaret and a granddaughter Ann Marie Wombles.

Sister               Barbara Jean Peterson of Galveston, Texas
Brother             Mark Peterson of Duneden, Florida
Host                  Nieces, Nephews and Friends

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 15, 2007 at 5:00 pm in the Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. John Underwood officiating and full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.
