Guestbook Entry: : Steve was a wonderful man with a big heart. All of us here in Bradenton, FL will miss him, and I will always have fond memories of times spent with Steve traveling from Florida to Oregon, and living in Oregon with Steve and members of his family for several years. Steve spent many hours with my young daughter, Lisa, helping to teach her to read and study. Lisa is a 30-something mom now teaching her son the same lessons, and she still speaks about Steve's patience with her during those years, and gives Steve the credit for her success in school. Steve is the reason she loves to read, and that is a wonderful gift.
Even thought we were divorced, Steve remained a part of our life, and although he struggled with his health issues these past years, he was always cheerful, and often expressed how thankful he was to have the support of Bob and Andreene, to support him and care for him when he needed them.

Words cannot express the loss... Steve will be missed more than words can say. He taught me so much and was the best step-father a little girl could have. I love you and will miss you.....
