Rev. William “Denver” Spurlock, age 78 of the Liberty Estates in Wartburg, Tennessee passed away Monday, March 31, 2008 at his home. A retired minister, he was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents Grant & Anna Mae Spurlock; sister, Hazel Baker; and a daughter, Beverly Wallace.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Gerald Barnette officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.
