Mr. Joseph Kenneth “Tom” Ruppe, age 91, of N. Chamberlain Avenue, Rockwood, TN, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008 in the Rockwood Care & Rehab Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Rockwood and was retired from the City of Rockwood Street Dept. Preceded in death by parents, John & Vada Ruppe; brother, William Quentin Ruppe; sister, Louise Miles.

Survivors include:

Wife:                             Cora S. Ruppe of Rockwood, TN

Sisters:                        Emma Nelson of Rockwood, TN
                                      Hazel Faye Hagedorn of Elsmere, KY

Several nieces, nephews & friends

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 9, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Charles Kelley officiating. Graveside service and interment will be Thursday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
