I am Jo An Howard Gaines, living in Honolulu. I lived by Madelyn and Hobart on North Wilder St. when I was a kid. I loved Madelyn!! She was so lovely to my mother and me. I remember when she went to work at Oak Ridge during the war. I loved her laugh I loved her stories of living in Sunbright. I recall her parents and I remember her daughters...was it Margaret and Faye? I recall Hobart and my Dad, Arch, playing horse shoes in our yard. I'll give a contribution in her name to my Aunt Roxie's fund.

Just want to let everyone know that Granny was a wonderful person. Even though she wasnt my granny, I thought alot of her. To my sis, Susan, you know I am here if you need me. To the family, I cant imagine losing my mother, but to assure everyone, she is looking down on everyone from Heaven. She will be missed greatly. I loved her.
