Mr. Neil Edward “Eddie” Palmer, age 59, of Lenoir Street, Rockwood, TN, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in the VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. He was born October 21, 1949 in Rockwood. He was a disabled U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam; attended First Baptist Church, Rockwood; loved wrestling and two-liter Cokes. Preceded in death by parents, Ranzy & Ruby Clifton Palmer; brothers, Charles Richard Palmer & Randall Edwin Palmer; several aunts & uncles.

Survivors include:

Sisters:                  Winona Marie Kenney & husband, Tim of Dalton, GA
                                Nancy Ann Willis & husband, Phil of Pulaski, TN

Brother:                  David Eugene Palmer

Aunts:                    Grace Palmer of Rockwood, TN
                                Juanita Holland of Rockwood, TN
                            
Uncle:                     Floyd Palmer of Reno, NV

Host of cousins, nieces, nephews & friends

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary. Graveside service and interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.
