Mr. Sammie Grant Helton, Jr., age 60, of South Wilder Avenue, Rockwood, TN, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008 in the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.  Mr. Helton  was a member of the Pine Orchard Baptist Church.  He was married to Linda Peters Helton for 38 years.  He was preceded by his parents; Sam & Beulah Helton, mother & father-in-law, and 3 brothers.

Daughters:         Margaret Wilson & husband Tim of Old Fort, TN
                             Melissa McGaha of Rockwood, TN
                             Jennifer Helton & fiancée Donnie Cantrell of Harriman, TN

Sisters:               Geraldine Reynolds & husband Johnny of Oakdale, TN
                             Janice Holder & husband Paul of N.C.
                                                         
                             8 Grandchildren
                             1 Great-Grandchild

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Charles Kelley officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in the Pine Orchard Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
