Mr. Floyd Ray Givens, age 70, a resident of Dotson Subdivision, Harriman, TN passed away Monday, January 14, 2008 at his home. He was born April 30, 1937 in the Homestead community of Cumberland County, TN. Mr. Givens was a retired line supervisor and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local in Houston, TX; and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Floyd Givens and Clara Edna Nance; and brothers, James Howard Givens, Cleston Givens, and Stanton Givens.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. from the chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Pete Scarbrough officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, January 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Daysville Cemetery in Rockwood with full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 17 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary.
