Mary Elizabeth Dodd of Birmingham passed away on Sunday, March 2nd, 2008.  She will forever be in our hearts and missed dearly.  Although her death fills us with deep sorrow, we find great comfort and joy knowing that she is in Heaven with God and no long suffering.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Vance of Rockwood, TN.  She is survived by three daughters, Kristen Woods, Stefanie Monforte, and Carrie Dodd; grandchildren, Jaden Hamer, Blythc Woods, and Julianna Hamer; sisters,Cynthia Vance-Lovasik and Marilyn Vance; brothers, Robert Vance and David Vance.

A memorial service will be held at Double Oak Community Church in Birmingham on Tuesday March 4th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, TN.
