Mr. James Joseph “Jimmy” Brady, age 40, of the Poplar Street in Rockwood, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008 in the Roane Medical Center.  He was preceded in death by grandmother, Ina “Jack” Lankford; grandmother Helen Dunlap; grandfather, Morgan Eugene McClendon;  and a brother, Glen Edward Hamby.

Survivors include:

Daughters       Jamie Brady of Knoxville
                          Joanie Brady of Rockwood

Mother            Cheryl Hamby of Rockwood

Stepfather      Jim Hamby of Rockwood

Father             John Brady of Rockwood

Brother            Tracy Allen Hamby (Karen) of Rockwood

Nieces/nephews    Jesse, Peyton and Haley Hamby

½ sisters       Laura Ann Sawyer of Melbourne, Florida
                        Kathy Hamby of Oakdale
                        Tammy Hamby of Midtown

Grandmother Barbara Ann McClendon of Rockwood

Aunt               Melodie Higgenbottom of Rockwood

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. James Edwards officiating.  Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.  Donations may be made to Evans Mortuary for final expenses.
