Mrs. Jessie Blanche Gosnell Mee, age 98, a native of Rockwood, TN, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Spring City Health Care Center. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Rockwood for more than 75 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude David “Shorty” Mee.

She is survived by:

Son:                       Carl “Cedar” Mee of Rockwood, TN

Daughter:             Gail Mee Powell of Kingsport, TN

6 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren

 

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 22, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. EST at Evans Mortuary followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Kara Kleinschmidt officiating. Graveside service will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood.
