J.D. McNallie, age 77, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Rockwood, TN passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Alive Hospice at Nashville, TN. Mr. McNallie was a truck driver and a member of Middle Tennessee Baptist Church.

Mr. McNallie was preceded in death his parents, James Doss McNallie and Dorothy Long Bray and sister, Flora Spurun. He is survived by his daughters Debbie & Mike Bercegeay of Murfreesboro, TN; Cathy & Wayne Sells of Vine Grove, KY; Anita & Paul Ellis of Rockwood, TN; Juanita & Chuck Maness of Clearwater, FL; Eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Alice Faye Coots of Rockwood, TN.

Memorial service will be Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Rockwood Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Lewis Capps officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Rockwood, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
