Mr. Samuel J. Lemons, age 90, of Spring City, TN passed away on November 15, 2007, at the Cumberland Medical Center.  He was born February 5, 1917 in Milo, TN to James and Dosha Lemons.  He retired from TVA after 33 years of service.  He was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church in Spring City and spent many years at The Daily Bread as a volunteer.  He was preceded in death by his parents James and Dosha Lemons; brothers, Frank Lemons and Tom Lemons; sisters, Ted Simpson, Eliza Porter, Lena Lemons, Anna Lou Lemons and Mayme E. Evans.

Survivors include:

Wife:                         Lucinda Lemons of Spring City, TN

Son:                          Clifford R. Lemons & wife, Barbara of Spring City, TN

Grandchild:               Aaron R. Lemons of Rockwood, TN

Great Grandchildren:  McKenzie Lemons of Rockwood, TN          
                                       Christina Little of Rockwood, TN

Nephew:                     Ronald F. Roberts of Elyria, OH

 

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Dave Witt & Sister Lois Mims officiating.  Interment will be Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Smyrma Cemetery in Rhea County, TN.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary.
