I was not acquainted with Skip's family, but I thought a lot of Skip as a co-worker. He was one of my programers when I worked at K25. My prayers are with you at this time.

Joy,
I was so sorry to read about Skip's death. I would have come to receiving friends, but it was over before I knew about it. I was in Nashville for the holidays. As you probably know, my Nancy just recently passed away too. It's hard but you'll make it. Please call sometime when you begin to feel like talking to somebody.
I'm glad I got to see Skip at Rite-Aid one day. It was kind of sad though, comparing our cancer notes.
With sympathy,

Joy, you must know how much I would like to be with you at this time. Having met Skip only one time, Lacey and I feel that we knew him so much longer. He was so easy to know and to get acquainted with. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. We love you.

Joy, my prayers are with you, and sorry I can't make it to the service Saturday afternoon, due to a previous engagement. I never met Skip, but I heard a lot of good things about him, and I know and you know he is at peace now. Will continue to remember you.
