Mr. Claude F. Ladd, Sr., age 76, a resident of Carter Street, Harriman, TN passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007 in the Roane Medical Center, Harriman. He was born May 14, 1931 in Harriman, TN. Mr. Ladd was a retired truck driver with Mac Materials and Midtown Paving. He was a veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard, 278th Infantry Division which was called to active duty under the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Ladd was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Frank & Clara Belle Love Ladd; daughter, Patricia Ann Alred; and brother, Robert William “Bobby” Ladd.

                                                Claude F. Ladd, Jr. & girlfriend, Crystal Gann & her children of Robbinsville, NC

And several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Hascue Carter officiating. Military honors will be given by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Private interment will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery in Harriman, TN at a later date.
