Mrs. Tennie Lou Kindred, age 101, of Chaney Branch Road, Harriman, TN, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2007 in the Rockwood Care & Rehab Center. She was born September 14, 1906 in Rockwood. Mrs. Kindred was a charter member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Midtown. Preceded in death by husband, Lester Kindred; daughter, Peggy Tate; son, Alvin Kindred; parents, William & Maggie Berry Clark.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 26, 2007 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Mortuary. Graveside service will be in the Piney Grove Cemetery in Midtown.
