            Mrs. Beatrice Helton Jolly, age 80 of the Pin Oak Drive in Rockwood passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 at her home.  An active member of Clymersville Baptist Church serving on several committees, she had moved back to Tennessee in 1987 after spending 30 years in Michigan.  Preceded in death by husbands James Helton and John Jolly Sr; parents Homer and Argie Melton Wade; brothers Robert Wade, W.T. Ford, Mike Ford and James Ford.

 

Survivors include:

 

Daughter       Kathy Heddens (Michael) of Three Rivers, Michigan

Grandchildren    Jared Heddens (Holly) of Grand Rapids, Michigan

                                    Bethany Michael of Grand Rapids

Greatgrandchildren    Lucy, Brendan, Clare and Felicity Michael; Jane Heddens

Sister              Lucille Todd of McMinnville, Tennessee

Sister in law  Macon Wade of McMinnville

Sisters             Janice Bills of Lewisburg, Tennessee

                        Fay Rogers of Nashville

                        Willa Deberry of Woodbury, Tennessee

Brother           Joe Ford of Smithville, Tennessee

 

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 12th at 7:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev.’s Howard Huling and Charles Kelley officiating.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.  On Sunday, the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 pm CST at the Jennings-Ayers Funeral Home on North Church Street in Murfreesboro.  Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org; Covenant HomeCare Hospice at the Fort Sanders Foundation: 280 Fort Sanders West Blvd #100 in Knoxville, TN 37922 in memory of Mrs. Jolly; or to the Clymersville Baptist Church Building Fund at PO Box 194 in Rockwood TN 37854

I was Bea's  nurse years ago and Avon lady.  My husband and I  have visited her at her home and enjoyed sitting on her front porch   chatting with her.  Will miss her.
