Mr. Willard L. Gilmore, age 69 of the Coles Road in Rockwood passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the Parkwest Medical Center. He was a retired police officer who served in the US Air Force. Preceded in death by his daughter Linda Gilmore; sister Ruth Douglas; his parents and two brothers.
Survivors include:
Wife Elizabeth Gilmore of Rockwood
Sons David Gilmore, Brad Gilmore and Timothy Gilmore
Several Grandchildren
Sister Mattie Snow of Harriman
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 11th at 8:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Tom Abston officiating. Interment will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Pine Orchard Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.

Willard will be missed by all who knew him .He was always willing to help anyone in need.As a police officer he helped many people with their problems and was respected by his fellow officers.I will always remember him for his kindness.
