Mr. James Dawson Findley, age 81, of the Ozone community of Cumberland County, TN passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008 at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, TN. He was born April 17, 1927 in Wilder community of Fentress County, TN to Allen & Margaret Young Findley. Mr. Findley was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Westel, TN; he was a member of Crossville Lodge #483 F. & A. M. where he served as a two time Past Master. He was also a member of the York Rite, Knights Templar, Scottish Rite. Mr. Findley was a U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; Allen & Margaret Young Findley.

Son: Freddy Findley & wife, Imogene of Ozone, TN
Daughter: Robin Nichols & husband, William of Rockwood, TN
Grandchildren: Angela Dawn Walker, J. J. Walker, Kimberly Swafford, Marcie Clingan, Kristina Findley, Heather Nichols and Brandon Nichols

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary. Masonic rites will be given Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. E.S.T. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary by Crossville Lodge # 483 F. & A.M. Funeral services will follow with Bro. Kenny Raines & Bro. Greg Russell officiating. Graveside services and interment will be Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. in the Dogwood Cemetery in Rockwood, Cumberland County, TN. Mike Findley, Mark Findley, Joe Findley, Jeremy Findley, Nick Findley, Robert Findley, William Cook and Billy Lowell will serve as pallbearers.
