Mr. James Allen Daniel, Sr age 74 of the Black Hollow Road in Rockwood, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 in the Renaissance Terrace.  He was a member of Southgate lodge #569 F&AM in Harriman.  Preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Daniel; father Jerry Daniel Jr; mother Thelma Vitatoe; brothers Jerry Daniel Jr and Lawrence Daniel; sister Ruth Hendrickson; grandsons Michael Daniel Jr and Daniel Shoemaker.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Roger Britton officiating.  Interment will follow in the Roane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at the Evans Mortuary.
