Mrs. Dorothy L. Crabtree, age 85, of Rockwood, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Baptist West Hospital in Knoxville, TN.  She was born March 15, 1923 in Meigs County, Tennessee to Charles M. & Susie Watts Long who preceded her in death.  Mrs. Crabtree was a member of the Clymersville Baptist Church in Rockwood and was a retired office clerk with the State of Tennessee.  Besides her parents, Mrs. Crabtree was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Crabtree.

Grandchildren:             Kristin Nicole Herrell & husband, Robbie of Clinton, TN
                                        Elizabeth Nichols of Knoxville, TN

Great Grandchildren:  Whitney Tullis, Morgan Tullis, Tres Nichols, Brooklynn Herrell
                             Sydney Herrell & Jaxon W. Herrell

 

At the family’s request, memorials may be made to Clymersville Baptist Church or to the Kidney Foundation.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 14, 2008 from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary.  The funeral service will follow with the Rev. Charles Kelley and Rev. Howard Hulin officiating.  Interment will be in the Roane Memorial Gardens.
