Mr. William Christopher “Zeke” Collett, age 50 of Rockwood and Knoxville passed away suddenly Sunday, November 8, 2009 in the Roane Medical Center. He was born August 19, 1959 in Rockwood; an Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Rockwood; a member of the First Baptist Church of Rockwood; employed at X-10 UT-Battelle with 20 years’ service; a member of Rockwood Masonic Lodge #403 F&AM; a member of Pipefitters Union Local 718; a proud member of Rockwood High School’s 1976 State Championship football team; and an avid deer hunter and sports fan. Preceded in death by grandparents Clarence Wilkey and Jim & Clara Collett; father in law Robert Jones; and numerous aunts & uncles.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 12th at 11:00 in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Don Summerfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.
Pallbearers will be members of the RHS 1976 State Championship football team.
