In loving memory of Mrs. Dixie Lynn Swaggerty Cofer, age 75 of the Turner Drive in Harriman passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at her home.  Born December 7, 1934 and a member of the Rockwood Baptist Tabernacle, she was preceded in death by her father James Franklin Swaggerty, Mother Lydia Lavada Swaggerty, Sisters Pearl Capps and Virginia Roberts, a brother Alvin Swaggerty, and three sons: William David Cofer, Ronnie Deane “Boone” Cofer and Charles Lynn Cofer.

 

Survivors include:

Husband          William C. Cofer of Harriman

Daughter         Alice Darlene Snow Lane (Larry W.) of Harriman

Grandchildren William Charles “Chuck” Snow (Melody J.) of Harriman

                        Thomas Lynn Snow (Tiffany) of Harriman

                        Johnnie Allen Snow of Rockwood

Ten                  Great grandchildren

Sisters              Mildred Frisbee of Dalton, Georgia

                        Audrey McCoy of Dalton, Georgia

                        Irene Halton of Oakdale

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 18th  at 8:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with the Rev.’s Lewis Capps and Charles Lewis Cofer officiating.  Interment will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Roane Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.
