Mr. Dannie Joe Christmas, age 57, Jackson Drive, Harriman, TN passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 at Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville. Mr. Christmas was born October 15, 1951 in Pineville, KY to George Arthur & Mary Dewana Jordan Christmas. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Christmas was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Christmas; and uncle, James Clute Jordan.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Pastor Scott Cagle officiating. Graveside service and interment will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.
