Mrs. Orpha Geneva Ray Bryant, age 100, formerly of the New Hope Community of Rockwood, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007 in the Roane Medical Center.  She was the last charter member of the New Hope Baptist Church;  and was preceded in death by her husband Roy E. Bryant, parents James and Amanda Gregory, and daughter Gladys Evans.

Survivors include:

Daughter                   Joan Foust of Rockwood
Grandchildren          Tammy L. Beets of Fredericksburg, Virginia
                                    Mike Foust of Rockwood
A host of                    Nieces, nephews and cousins

Funeral service will be conducted Monday at 8:00 pm from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Bill Brown officiating.  Interment will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the New Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Evans Mortuary.

Contributions may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Bryant.
