Mrs. Doris Payne Branham, age 78, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at her home in Kingston, TN. She was born on October 23, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to Roy & Drucilla Payne. She was a member of the Cardiff Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Ralph Payne.

Survivors include:

Husband of 57 years:      Tom Branham of Kingston, TN

Daughters:                        Dawn Barber of Kingston, TN
                                            Camille Finch of Belleville, MI

Son:                                    Thomas Bradley Branham & wife, Kimi of Kingston, TN

Grandchildren:                  Drucilla Bookout, Amanda Marshall, Joshua Branham,
                                             Zachary Branham, Kasi Branham, Mary Lundquist, Sarah Lundquist

An expected great grandchild: Gabriel Thomas Bookout

At the family’s request, memorial contributions may be made to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam’s Way, Randleman, NC 27317.

A joint memorial service for Doris Payne Branham and Thomas Branham will be held Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cardiff Baptist Church in Rockwood with Rev. Matthew Cannon officiating.

Dear Mr. Tom Branham and family,
First of all, I am so sorry this is coming so far after the passing of Mrs. Doris Branham.  While I know all of you are experiencing loss it is truly heavens gain and I pray that all of you will be surrounded with Gods love and blessings.  I was priviledge to have met Doris while down visiting my family in Kingston and Harriman TN.  It just happened that I was from Michigan and had just met Drucilla and found out she was going to be visiting her grandparents in Kington, TN at around the same time I was also going to be visiting family in Harriman.  This is how I was blessed to met both Mr. and Mrs. Tom Branham.  From what I remember of Doris she was a very spiritual person full of life and definately a lot of wit, she was also a great Artist.  One thing that was for sure is that she was very protective of her grandchildren, especially when some Yankee came to visit. (Smiles - Don't be late) Again I am so sorry for your loss and it was such a blessing to have had the chance to meet such a wonderful woman and I just wanted to share my blessings with your family.  Also to the family I actually have met, Tom, Camille, Dawn, Amanda, Drucilla and Tim.  I am saying a special prayer for all of you.
