Miss Geneva Mae Adcox, age 50, a resident of Cawood Road, Spring City, TN went home to be with the Lord on  Saturday, October 20, 2007 in the Roane Medical Center, Harriman, TN, and is now “walking” on streets of gold. She was born June 5, 1957 in Rockwood, TN. Geneva attended the Rockwood Baptist Tabernacle and sang in many area churches since the age of 5. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Luther Adcox.

                                                            Tim Adcox of Spring City, TN

Several nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Roane Medical Center I.C.U. nurses and staff for taking such wonderful care of Geneva and her mother.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. e.d.t. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Lewis Capps, Bro. John Adcox, and Bro. Luke Tuttle officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood. Family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Monday, October 22, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. e.d.t. at the Evans Mortuary.
