Mrs. Betty H. Winchester, age 87, a resident of Rockford, TN, formerly of Harriman, TN passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at her home. She was born July 14, 1922 in Sunbright, TN to John F. & Alice Barnes Hatfield. Mrs. Winchester was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Harriman and loved the Lord. During WWII, she was a Rosie the Riveter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Winchester; son, David Winchester; infant son, Thomas Edward Winchester; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 8 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Ralph Nance officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, January 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Willard Park Cemetery in Harriman. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary.
