Bishop J. Roach, age 63, of the Ozone Community, Rockwood, TN died Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Roane Medical Center, Harriman.  Mr. Roach was born January 15, 1946 in Oconee Co., SC to Robert Lee and Mary Annie Deal Roach.  He has resided in this area since the early 1970’s and worked in the scrap metal industry as a welder.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by six brothers.

Stepson:                          Lonnie Shumate & wife, Ginger of Frankfort, KY

 

3 Step grandchildren:          Brandi, Brittany & McKenzie Shumate of Frankfort, Ky

 

Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews

 

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Larry Tilley officiating.  A private interment will be held at a later date.  The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary.
