Mrs. Sallie Scott Pugh, age 94, a resident of the Eagle Furnace community of Rockwood, TN passed away at home December 16, 2009.  She was born August 23, 1915 in the Scott’s Mill community of Maury CO, TN to Ollie Floyd and Grace King Scott.  Mrs. Pugh was a member of Asbury Chapel United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Pugh in 1987; great granddaughter, Kristin Hurst in 2004; siblings, Evelyn Alexander, Doris Smith, Norma Johnston, Geneva Harris, Amos Scott, and Robert Scott; and son-in-law, Paul Hurst.

Sons:                          Ernie Pugh & wife, Anita of Rockwood, TN

                                    Wayne Pugh & wife, Patty of Rockwood, TN

                                    Kenneth Troy Pugh & wife, Judy of Lilburn, GA

 

11 Grandchildren:    Tim Pugh, Darrell Pugh, & Kenny Hurst of Rockwood, TN

                                    Scott Pugh of Columbia, TN

                                    Ricky Hurst of Snellville, GA

                                    Michael Pugh of Oliver Springs, TN

                                    Brian Pugh of McDonough, GA

                                    David Pugh of Loganville, GA

                                    Gina Shugart of Calara, AL

                                    Rebekah Webb of Oak Ridge, TN

                                    Rhonda Rogers of Kingston, TN

 

19 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-great Grandchildren

 

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

 

Graveside service and interment will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. in the Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood, TN with Pastor Paul Johnston officiating.
