Mr. Danny Wayne Mayton, age 41, a resident of Roane State Highway, Rockwood, TN passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 at his home. He was born November 6, 1968 in Harriman, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Maynard “Red” Mayton, Jr.; grandmother, Dorothy Capps; uncle, Eddie Newcomb; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Tilley.
Survivors include:
Wife: Joyce Mayton of Rockwood, TN
Daughters: Candace Isham & husband, Jesse of Ft. Campbell, KY
Sheena Mayton of Rockwood, TN
Granddaughter: Juliana Isham of Ft. Campbell, KY
Mother & Step-Father: Linda & Randy Edmonds of Walland, TN
Brother: Dennis Mayton of Knoxville, TN
Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: Jim & Susan Tilley of Rockwood, TN
And several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Emory Heights Cemetery in Harriman, TN. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary.
