Beth & Barbara...so sorry to hear about your mom. You know I remember her smile so well and how she always welcomed any of your friends into your home. She made a great impression on me as the ideal mom...sophisticated, smart, business savy and so loving to everyone around her. She came into Rockwood and embraced it as her home and made it a better place because of her wonderful attitude.

Jean was a delight to be around. I have often thought of her after she moved from Rockwood. One memory is her selling poppies for the veterans. A great lady.

Barbara and Beth, I'm so sorry to hear that your mom has passed. I have so many beautiful memories of her when we were growing up, and then when I was working at the Methodist Church in Rockwood in the 80's. But she touched me the most when she and I were both in school in the summer at MTSU in the early 70's and we would see each other and talk. I will never forget her kindness and interest in me as I was struggling to grow up and answer those very important questions that we all struggle with in our young adult years. She always made me feel good about myself and let me know I was a unique individual with some special purpose. Many times I was lonely and confused, and Mrs. Holloway would treat me with such love and respect!! What a gift she was to everyone who knew her.
You and all her family and loved ones will be in my thoughts and prayers as you find your way to peace with your great loss.
