Mrs. Lydia Mae Kirk, age 97, of Dayton, TN passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Laurelbrook Sanitarium in Dayton.  Mrs. Kirk was born October 17, 1912 in Harriman, TN to William Alfred and Florence Cameron Northern.  She was a member of the Roane County Seventh Day Adventist Church in Harriman.  Mrs. Kirk was a retired LPN from Chamberlain Memorial Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Docmer J. Smith and Charles Thomas Kirk; sisters, Viola Morgan & Vernia Basler; brothers, William Northern, Jr., Fred Northern, Clifford Northern and Dillard Northern.

Nephews & Nieces:   Larry & Gail Basler of Evensville, TN

                            Steve & Becky Basler of Spring City, TN

 

Several great nieces and great nephews

 

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood.  The funeral service will be held Friday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with David R. Mauzano officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow in the Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood.  Memorial donations may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 336 Patton Lane, Harriman, TN 37748.
