My thoughts and prayers go out to Esther, Karen, Mike, and Al and their families.  Albert was one of the finest men I have ever known.  He was such a friendly and encouraging man of GOD, who sincerely took an interest in the souls of his congregation.  I carry many of his teachings in my heart and count myself extremely fortunte to have been a part of his church family.  Blest be the tie that binds.

I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts & prayers are with all of the family. It is not easy to let go but so long as the memories are held in your heart, he will always be with you. I remember the kindness Bro. Griffin gave to my family when he stepped up and led the services at my late brother's funeral. I asked him to read a passage of scripture, he did, and now I return it to the Griffin familhy. II Thessalonians Chapter 4; 13-18. With deepest sympathy, Esther Harner

Recollections of Uncle Albert when my parents and I visited my grandparents, Bill and Edith Benzenhafer, are of a kind, friendly man who always had a funny story to tell and ample time to simply be present with folk regardless of age or situation. He had a tender way of caring for people so that you could not help but know you were loved by God after a visit with him. His presence in the constellation of our larger family will be missed...but his influence and example live on. Comfort and God's deep peace to Aunt Esther, the family, and the community of faith who loved and cared with and for Uncle Albert.
Holly Benzenhafer Redford (Methuen, MA)
