Mr. Claude Junior Fox, age 81, a resident of Rockwood, TN passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 in The Bridge at Rockwood. He was born June 8, 1928 in Rockwood, TN to Author Thomas & Mary Pass Fox. Mr. Fox was a member of the Rockwood Church of Christ; Rockwood Masonic Lodge # 403 F. & A. M.; and the Scottish Rite; and was a Shriner. He was a retired material clerk with U.S. Department of Energy Y-12 plant with 37 years of services and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Fox and Madge Wicks; and brother William G. “Red” Fox.

 

Survivors include:

 

Brothers and sisters-in-law:                         Ewell & Barbara Foxx of Rockwood, TN

                                                                        Author Paul & Faye Fox of Rockwood, TN

 

Sister:                                                             Gracie Farmer of Rockwood, TN

 

And several nieces and nephews.

 

Masonic services will be given Monday, November 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary by Rockwood Lodge # 403 F. & A. M. Funeral services will follow the Chapel with Bro. Kendall Bear officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. The family will receive friends Monday, November 9, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary.

I have missed you every day since you passed away.  I still look for you at the nursing home when I go to see Mother (your youngest sister).  You always had a smile on your face and so cheerful to the ones you meet. Our family will all be together some day and what a blessing it will be.
