Mr. Jesse P. Chandler, Jr., 70, of Kingston, TN, passed away January 26, 2010 in Lenexa, Kansas. He was born February 4, 1939 in Joliet, IL to Jesse Preston, Sr. and Anna Bell Jones Chandler. Mr. Chandler was a millwright. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to all. He enjoyed watching movies with his granddaughter, Christina “Eat Um Up”, and enjoyed jazz and watching basketball and football games. Mr. Chandler was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joanna M. Chandler; infant daughter, Pamela Chandler; brothers, Eddie Chandler & Avern Chandler; sisters, Donna Fryor, Lavern Thomas, Loretta Woods, Tonia Stewart, Geraldine Baker and Mildred Hickman.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 1, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Evans Mortuary. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Willard Gunter officiating. Interment will be held Tuesday, February 2 at 11:00 A.M. in Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood.
