Mrs. Opal Faye Brock, age 79, Elm Avenue, Rockwood, TN passed away Monday, November 30, 2009 at the Shannondale Health Care Center in Knoxville, TN.  She was born August 10, 1930 in Rockwood, TN to George Rolland and Alice Faye Price Simpson, both of whom preceded her in death.  Mrs. Brock was a member of Rockwood Church of Christ.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Brock; great grandson, Dylan Booth; son-in-law, Troy Byrd; and brother, Rolland Simpson.

 The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary in Rockwood.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Josh Lifford and Pastor Ronnie Nichols officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
