Mrs. Nanita Dean Majors Blank, age 56, of Rodgers Circle, Rockwood, TN died Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville.  Mrs. Blank was born December 29, 1953 in Rockwood, TN to Leslie Earl Majors, Sr. and Betty Ray Hardin Majors.  She was a paralegal with Cooley, Cooley & McFarland and was of the Baptist faith.  Mrs. Blank was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Earl Majors, Sr.; brother, Vance Majors and stepfather, Charley McNelley.

 Survivors include:

 Sons:                    Michael Aaron Blank of Chattanooga, TN

                               Jeffrey Lee Blank of Knoxville, TN

 Mother:                  Betty Majors McNelley of Rockwood, TN

 Sisters:                 Sandra Early & companion, Dr. James Louis of Fort Worth, TX

                                Charlotte Evans of Rockwood, TN

                                Marguerita Long & husband, Randy of Rockwood, TN

 Brother:                Leslie Earl Majors, Jr. & wife, Teresa of Rockwood, TN

 Mother-in-law:      Velma Blank of Rockwood, TN

 Special friend:          Jackie Clark of Rockwood, TN

 Host of nieces & nephews

The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary, Rockwood with Pastor Josh Lancaster officiating.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Evans.  Graveside and interment will be held Monday, February 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Rockwood.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
