Mrs. Jereta Faye Bane, age 65, of Rockwood, TN died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the Roane Medical Center in Harriman.  Mrs. Bane was born March 28, 1944 in Knoxville, TN to Beauford and Melba Blanche Healy Bradshaw.  She was a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Rockwood.  She was a piano teacher who played piano and organ for several area churches.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Frank Drown; brother, Buel Bradshaw and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sons:                     Joseph Drown & wife, Vickie of Oliver Springs, TN

                            Chris Drown & wife, Tina of Corning, CA

                            Stephen Bane of Rockwood, TN

 

Daughter:                Pamela Bane of Rockwood, TN

 

Grandchildren:          David Drown of Oak Ridge, TN

                            Brandi Drown of Oak Ridge, TN

                            Samantha Drown of California

                            Brandon of California

                            Jared Roberts of Knoxville, TN

                            Jessica Roberts of Hubbard, Ohio

                            Jennifer Marsh of Oak Ridge, TN

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood.  The funeral will be held Sunday, February 28 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Kara Foster officiating.  Graveside service and interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Memorial Park.  Memorial donations may be made to the Music Fund of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, P. O. Box 45, Rockwood, TN or to Evans Mortuary for expenses.
